growth mindset + gardening as resistance.
A rainy weekend to write about. Got me thinking of tender shoots burgeoning below the surface of wet dirt. That wild eagerness to make things happen and the necessity to let lie, observe and wait for a cycle to wash it's way through. All this good work never goes unnoticed. The effort it takes to help something, that means everything, grow. To protect it from harm and to create a space for whatever or whoever it is, to thrive.
We are not late or behind. There is enough space and enough spirit to resist what is poisonous and persist in planting with as much generosity and beauty as we have to give. And the point is not to live to see the bloom, that might be okay. To have planted the seed is satisfaction enough to live for.
